I have had a lifelong passion for dogs which started at an early age with that “please dad and mom can I get a dog” moment.

I recall with fondness the many hours I spent walking the paths in the forests and the parks with my first dog, a high-energy Beagle Foxhound cross, I named Spike after his spikey crown fur.

As the years passed, I was fortunate to have some great dogs as well as mentors in my life. With the encouragement of my dog’s vet, I embarked on being certified in K9 First Aid and then certified as a dog walker so as to assist clients in exercise rehabilitation, primarily with sporting dogs.

Fast forward to a pivotal moment in my K9 knowledge development. While working as a volunteer at Pacific Assistance Dogs, I contacted the co-owner of Obedience Plus Canine Training in Maple Ridge. This mentorship taught me so much about sport and working dogs and led me to work full-time as a K9 handler in marine security.

I believe in continuously improving my knowledge and abilities. I recently returned from ten weeks of full-time training with Hollenhund Kennels/ Rock Solid Canine Training in Alberta. My training concentrated on relationship building, environmental conditioning, obedience and drive building.

I want to foster a relaxed, fun and positive experience so that you and your dog look forward to our time spent to together.
